Obnoxiously Revealing

I have a Master's degree in English, with a focus on teaching college-level composition.

I am bi-sexual and in I am in a serious, long-term, poly relationship.

Wish I could say I am, as Neitzsche put it, "unacquainted with atheism as a result, and still less as an event: with [us] it is instinctive. [We are] too inquisitive, too skeptical, too arrogant, to let [ourselves] be satisfied with an obvious and crass solution of things. God is such an obvious and crass solution; a solution which is a sheer indelicacy to us thinkers...." Instead, I walked way from fundamentalist Christianity in 2001 and I am ardently anti-religious.

I am politically liberal and worked with several campaigns in 2008. I am very interested in human rights, feminist theory and cultural criticism. I post on political and religious topics regularly. Substantive debate is welcome, flames are not.
